- VW-1 Commanding Officers -

In most cases the Commanding officers of VW-1 served a 2 year tour of duty, the first year as the squadron XO and the second year as the CO.

Two of the CO's served in VW-1 several years prior to returning as XO and CO for a second tour of duty.
