21. NAVY EXHCANGE:

The following services are offered in the Navy Exchange Area:

  • Cobbler Shop: Open week days -- 0800 to 1600      Saturdays -- 0800 to 1200

  • Laundry: Open weekdays -- 0730 to 1700      Saturdays -- 0800 to 1200
  •  
  • Tailor Shop: Open week days -- 0800 to 1600      Saturdays -- 0800 to 1200

  • Watch Repair Open weekdays -- 0800 to 1600

  • Radio Repair Open weekdays -- 0900 to 1630      Saturdays -- 0800 to 1200

  • Flourist and
    Telegraph shop Open weekdays -- 0800 to 1600      Saturdays -- 0900 to 1200

  • Laundrette: Open weekdays -- 0800 to 1900      Saturdays 0800 to 1400

There is also an excellent exchange at Pearl Harbor.

22. BANK OF HAWAII:

The Bank of Hawaii is located in the Navy Exchange Area across from the main store. Hours are Monday through Friday, 0900 to 1400. Wednesdays and Saturdays 0900 to 1200. About the only place on the base where a government check can be cashed is at the bank. All banking facilities are available except safety deposite boxes.

23. NIMITZ BEACH:

Nimitz Beach is maintained on the base for benefit of the enlisted personnel. It is open during the summer months from 0900 to 1930 and winter months from 0900 to 1800.

24. OFFICER'S BEACH:

A beach club is located on the base for the use by the officers. A snack bar and bar is open daily during the summer months and on the weekends and holidays during the winter months. The shuttle bus makes the run on weekends and holidays. It is open 800 to 2030, weekends, 0900 to 2230.
