After the VW-1 2003 Reno Reunion three VW-1 couples (about 2 years later becoming 4 couples) who live in the midsouth area decided to get together between the VW-1 reunions. We decided on the restaurant at the Casey Jones museum in Jackson TN as this seemed to be the best central location for our group. On several occasions we've had special lunches for shipmates who happened to be traveling through the area.
To date other visitors have included: Dan and June Ragan, Joe and Maryann Vilsack, Ed and Sally Metzger, Ralph and Jane Link, Steve and Kathy Davis, Ray Williams, Mac and Judy Stotts, Dale and Linda Gladen, and Art and Mary Winter.
Our "VW-1 Lunch Bunch" group owes special thanks to Gay Oulman for the suggestion and setting up the initial lunch in 2003.
VW-1 shipmates who have had visits with other VW-1'ers are welcomed to have your visit/min-reunion commemorated by sending your pictures in.

Ralph Link and Pete Wasmund golfed in Millington TN. at the Navy Base golf course Thurs. with Bob Jensen ECC 58-60 TE-7, another VW-1 shipmate. Bob was not able to make it to Jackson for the group lunch. Ralph and Pete also golfed again on Sat.
