Malcolm C. Weidner was born July 21, 1938 the son of Charles Weidner and Blanche Jackson.
Malcolm passed away 6 March 2010 at a hospital in San Diego, CA from luekemia.
Funeral services for Master Chief Weidner will be on Monday, March 22, 2010 at Kristo Rai Church at 9:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will start at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be at Veterans Memorial Cemetary in Marpi, Saipan.
He was preceded in death by his father Charles Weidner, brother Fred Weidner, father and mother-in-law Jesus A. and Francisca W. Torres and brother-in-law Juan W. and Joseph W. Torres.
He is survived by his wife Rita W. Torres Weidner.
Daughters: Frances W. and Lamont Henderson, Catherine Weidner and Isaac Ngirbabul.
Son: Kyle Weidner.
Mother: Mrs. Blanche Jackson.
Brothers: Warren and Margie Weidner and family, Walter and Sandra Weidner and family.
Sister: Blanche W. and Michael Morrison and family.
Numerous brothers/sisters-in-laws and friends.
Long time friends of Malcolm, Jon & Maria Persson, wrote
"Mac spent 2 tours in VW-1. First was in the early sixties and second tour was 1965 thru late 1969. He and his wife
Rita introduced me to my Wife Maria in December 1968. He flew on Crew 2 and was my night check Electric Shop Supervisor
at times thru his second tour."
