- 1st picture from left: The flight engineer's name I don't recall. A man named Petit was a FE in our crew.
Our last crew chief was an AD1 by the name of Spatch. He was probably the finest PO I ran across in the
Navy.

3rd picture from left: We flew over the USS Yorktown.
4th picture from left: The dress whites inspection was the only one we ever had in the squadron when I was at
Barber's Point or Agana. I did not participate as I was on off-going Communications Watch Officer. A great
incident of the inspection was the large group of officers marching as a group - all in step and one beat out
with the music.
