- The 1st. and 2nd. pictures on the left: The reunion group gets ready to board the bus.
The 3rd. and 4th. picture, from the left: At one of the launch viewing areas. This area is about three miles
from one of the launch pads. The vehicle assembly building can be seen across the Intracoastal Waterway on the
horizon, about 5 miles away.

head back to the bus to continue the tour.

- The 1st. picture on the left: A closer view of Discovery, STS-131 on the launchpad. The shuttle was not
attached to the fuel cells but is semi buried inside all the steel structure of the launch pad to keep it
protected from lightning.
The 2nd. picture, from the left: There was plenty of wild life on the cape. This alligator was on the road to
cross it or sun bathe until our bus approached. Our driver estimated it to be about 6 - 8 feet long.
