The "Story Time" at this reunion was the first time it was tried. At all previous reunions stories were being told at individual tables that never got out to all the other members, so it was decided to have people come forward and give their story in front of the group. It appeared to be a great success and is likely to be tried again.
Basic rules for our sea (and other stories) were to be aware that we are in mixed company. To help ensure this rule we provided 2 persons with a large metal serving tray and cafateria size serving spoon. If they thought the story was going too far afield they were to bang the tray with the spoon to stop the story teller. Surprizingly no one had to be "gonged".
People who told stories were Don Ray, Jim Laposta, Ray Rae, Sally Metzger, Dave Cousineau, Vaughn Callison, Ethel Pendray and last but not least was Foster Hoover.
