These 2 Youtube videos are from an 18 minute DVD that was made by the "Jar Head" Joe Cuna, the Food and Beverage Director, of the Clarion hotels Buckingham's Restaurant Branson MO. Joe is pictured on the left.
The 1st. video is 3:30 minutes in length, showing various pictures of the squadrons aircraft.
The 2nd video is 14:30 minutes in length showing pictures that were taken in the meeting room. This DVD was shown on a large movie screen in our meeting room for which Joe received a standing ovation from all in attendance.
Joe, who was a U.S. Marine from 1977 until 1981, presented all reunion attendees with a DVD he made that contains many pictures that were taken by LeRoy White in our meeting room. This first segement shows pictures of VW-1 aircraft (one VW-4 aircraft was snuck in there also).
Joe took great care in ensuring that our reunion went smoothly and that our buffets were tastefully and properly prepared. Joe thoroughly enjoyed working with our group as expressed in portions of an E-mail to Ed Metzger ...
..." All kidding aside, I am honored that you are putting the video on your website. It is hard for me to accept the fact that people are so moved by something I did. As I said before, it is about you guys, not me and it is my way of trying to give back to those that have served. I hope we have the pleasure of crossing paths again. It was truly a pleasure to have met both of you.
