Coordination Board Reviewing Plans For Restoration

A central organizing board, called the ad hoc Shore Facilities Restoration Planning and Coordination Board, is now reviewing plans submitted by Naval activities in an effort to consolidate all facilities to the maximun extent practicable in connection with Guam's intensive military rebuilding program.

Commander Naval Forces Marianas Chief of Staff, CAPT O. O. Dean, is Board Chariman. Other members include CAPT W. W. Trice, Inspector General, ComNav Marianas; CAPT B. S. Pickett, CEC, Staff Civil Engineer, CincPacFlt; CDR N. M. Jackson, CEC, Office of the Chief of Naval Operations; and CDR A. G. Terry, CEC, Force Civil Engineer, ComNavMarianas.

Various island commanding officers and on-board representatives of CNO, sponsor Bureaus, CinCPacFlt, and other offices and commands will serve as advisors to the Coordination Board.
